Kay graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2000 and now has over 26 years of professional experience. Since 2021 she has been the Medical Director and co-owner of Precious Paws Veterinary Hospital in Bettendorf. Opening a rescue and sanctuary for neglected and unwanted animals has been a lifelong dream which began to take shape with the purchase of the property Precious Acres is now located.
